Corriere della Sera web TV.

Corriere TV was launched in September 2005 with the aim of enriching the Corriere della Sera.it news offer with exclusive multimedia content. The chosen path was not that of “Internet television” but rather that of creating a structure that produces “videos for Internet”.

Given a complete makeover in June 2008, Corriere TV now offers a rich variety of daily and weekly programmes: there are 5 TG (“news”) bulletins a day, the TG Economia (“Economics news bulletin”), the Video Meteo (“Weather video”), Videonews and Starnews (daily astrological update), the Speciali (“Specials”) and Videorubriche (“Video articles”) on television, cinema, and culture produced with the biggest writers and columnists from the newspaper, including Aldo Grasso, Paolo Mereghetti and Beppe Severgnini.

One of Corriere TV’s most exclusive and popular features is the Incontri Digitali (“Digital Meetings”), videochats where leading figures from the world of politics, culture and entertainment respond to the questions of readers live on video.

A significant percentage of video content available on Corriere TV is produced internally, in collaboration with the paper’s editorial team. Self-production is a courageous choice designed to guarantee distinctiveness, flexibility and total control over content quality.
