Information, services and interaction with the citizen.
RCS news via a network of websites for the general public: Corriere Milano, Corriere Fiorentino, Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Corriere del Veneto and many others in the pipeline, conceived and developed according to a common format comprising three key elements: local news, interactive sections and infotainment and infoutilita (local service and business information) services with access to databases containing information relating to all local businesses and services.
The local news covers a wide range of topics from general news, politics and economics to culture, entertainment and sport. News pieces are accompanied by photo and video multimedia content.
Plenty of emphasis on interaction with the readers, with four specific areas: Dì la tua (Have your say) is a service that enables readers to comment on articles written by the editorial team, while themed Forums & Blogs offer the chance to interact directly with the editors. Meanwhile, the Cronisti per caso (Accidental journalists) and Scritti da voi (Written by you) sections are brand new: the former gives readers the opportunity to publish their photos and videos relating to topics put forward by the editorial team or suggested by the readers themselves. The latter service gives users the possibility of seeing their own personal blog published on the site should the editorial staff voice their approval.
Last but not least, the services area includes information on services and businesses, infotainment and adverts. The infoutilità (local service and business information) area is divided into numerous sections: travel, the home, useful numbers, consumerism, tourism, sport & beauty and animals. Users will therefore be able to find exactly what they are looking for in the city quickly and easily: from the closest open pharmacy, public transport routes and timetables, gyms, and your favourite shop right through to removal companies. In the same way, the infotainment section is divided according to the various forms of culture and entertainment taking place in the city, with information on the cinema, restaurants, museums, theatres, exhibitions and hotels. There are also customisable weather forecasts by city and a timetable of the most interesting upcoming events.
Completing the sites are the classified ads which, thanks to Trovolavoro.it, TrovoCasa.it and Automobili.com, cover the areas of recruiting, property and automobiles with content localised according to geographical area.
